Well, 2022’s just about down the hatch. I don’t know about you, but I sure learned a lot, tried a lot, fell a lot…you see a theme here. It’s been an adventure and I’m ready for a big old rest before diving into the new year.

I’m also sitting in much gratitude — including that I feel for you who kindly invite me into your inbox every couple of weeks. Your engagement, your feedback, your time and attention — these are all gifts. And I thank you, sincerely, for continuing to give.

As we prepare to say farewell to 2022, I’d love to share a few posts I’ve written throughout the year that I humbly suspect will maintain relevance in 2023.

Like, what HR leaders say about talent retention — because even if you’re managing layoffs, retaining your remaining talent becomes more important than ever!

Or what about kickstarting the employee experience? Because talent continues, quite rightfully, to expect more of its employer. So let’s give ‘em what they need!

And let’s not overlook the criticality of new leader development — because pipelines of new leaders are the lifeblood of any great business. So let’s make sure we give them everything they need, and nothing they don’t.
